BIOGRAPHY

SAMUEL T. HALL - OF ELBA AND BYRON, NY

Hall, Samuel T., was born in Elba, February 27, 1834, and is a son of Zurial and Polly (Ford) Hall. His father was a native of Connecticut and came to Byron in 1809; later he moved to Rock County, Wisconsin, where he died in 1878. Samuel T. Hall was educated in the common schools, learned the carpenter's trade and for twenty years was employed by the Johnston Harvester Co. at Brockport and Batavia. In 1859 he married Phoebe J. daughter of Jesse Seeley; they have two daughters: Mrs. Charles C. Fellows and Mrs. Jewell.
