Fink, Fred, of Alabama. N. Y. (p. o. West Shelby, Orleans County, N. Y.) was born in Germany, April 19, 1833, a son a Jacob and Katherine (Krabs) Fink. Mr. Fink came to Genesee County in 1876, where he has since been engaged in farming. He has held the office of assessor twelve years, and has been school trustee for two years. He is a public spirited man, and has manifested a deep interest in schools and other public benefits. His wife was Mary Hagman; she bore him four children, namely: Elizabeth Fink Burns, and Rosa Fink Chubbuck, both deceased; Kittie Fink Tuttle, and William Fink. They have six grandchildren -a son and two daughters who survive Mrs. Burns, and Duane, Olive and Homer, children of William Fink, who is now conducting the farm. Source:
