Lemuel Dean, a native of Vermont, and a soldier of the Revolution, moved to Ohio in 1840, where he died in 1859, aged 75 years. His wife, Emeline, bore him children as follows: Rockwell, Carl, Abram P., Fordyce, and Corbin. Abram P. Dean, a native of Vermont, came to Orleans County, thence moved to Ohio, and finally to Buffalo, where he died in 1862, aged 64 years. He married Patty Winchell, daughter of Martin, of Pompey, N. Y., and his children were Mary Wood, Lucia Birch; Caroline A., and Fordyce O. The latter was born in Moriah, Essex County, N. Y., November 9, 1833, and married Myra M., daughter of Reuben P. Hauser. Their children are Abram P., Kate M., and Myra M. For his second wife he married Mrs. Elizabeth M. Hinchey, daughter of R. P. Hauser, and now resides on road 10 in Batavia. FROM:
