O. Cooley, son of Levi, was born in Sweden, Monroe County, July 31, 1839. He is the inventor for most of the machinery for the Johnston Harvester Co. In 1873 he went to Europe and set up the first reaper that was exhibited in France. He has been to Europe eight times in the interest of the Johnston Harvester Co. He operated a machine at the Vienna Exposition in 1873, at Paris in 1878, and at Philadelphia in 1876. FROM:
