F. CHICK - OF DARIEN, NY (#2)
Charles F. Chick, son of George and Jane (Percy) Chick, who came from England in 1852, was born in Buffalo at the Cold Springs, December 21, 1856. May 3, 1881, he married Carrie Welker, and in 1884 settled on the farm of 247 acres where he now resides, near the southeast corner of the town. Mr. Chick is an extensive dealer in half-breed Percheron horses and roadsters, mostly brought from Iowa. He also deals in cows from Canada, and in fertilizers, besides conducting his large farm and dairy of 35 cows. FROM: Gazetteer and Biographical Record, of Genesee County, New York, Edited by: F. W.
