Daniel Booth was born in Charlemont, Mass. In 1759 he married Lucinda Allis and they were parents of 10 children, of whom but two survive, namely: Martha M. and Joel A. The latter was born in Massachusetts, September 29, 1808, and when about 20 years of age came to Nunda, N. Y. He married, first, Emeret E. Jackman of Livonia, by whom he had eight children, of whom two are deceased, and six are living, viz.: Cyrus M., Eliza, Emily E., George A., Charles W., and Frank S. For his second wife he married, January 24, 1858, Mrs. Laura T. (Colburn) Hannah, and reared two children, Parlemon J. and Lola G. Mr. and Mrs. Booth have lived on road 56 for 31 years.
