Christopher Bobsen came from Germany to America in 1865, and located in Oakfield, where he died January 27, 1885, aged 83 years. His wife was Eliza Abbott, of Germany, and they had six children, viz.: Frederick, Christian, John, Joseph, Sophia, and Rachel. Frederick, also a resident of Oakfield, married Mary, daughter of Fred and Mary (Bbroktt) Peters, of Germany. Their children are Ettie, Willie, Eliza, Myrtle, and Fred.
