Walker - Guam - Iwo Jima - Kwajalein

Here are three of Crew 904's finest, L to R: Guy W. Shine (P) , John Parr (A/C) and Kermit Wheeler (Rad Ob) soaking up some much needed relaxation on a local beach. No name for the gentleman in the back. (Much thanks to Carl Shine for the photos).

Here are some men taking a moment to enjoy a few tunes from home. Maybe stirring up a good memory or two?

Robert Woolson (P) on K-29 getting some coffee and donut from a Red Cross Girl..

Here is a GREAT 457th BG flightline shot looking SE provided by SSGT Hubert Homan Jr's daughter Kristine. You can just feel the rumbling and smell the exhaust as they pass by!

Here is another shot looking NW up the 457th's Taxi way. Photo provided by Joseph Tannarome (Acft Pwrplnt Mech) with the 457th BG.

Photo taken from the North Service Apron looking SW with the 457th's aircraft to the right, just past the 19th BG plane. Photo provide by SGT Salvatore G.(Jerry) Presutte.

Great shot provided by SSGT Philip Pecquet's collection showing a 457th Acft pulling into her hardstand after a mission.

330th Shower. Anyone recognize anyone here? Of course, you would REALLY have to know someone to recoginze them?

Back to business.

Bombing orders being given at the Briefing Shack. Time to synchronize those watches. These men are ready for their next mission to the Empire.

Here are, L to R: MSGT Joel Boersema (FE on K-59 (2)), CAP Karl Stalnaker (A/C of K-61), 2LT John Bennett, Jr. (FE on K-62) and CAP John Stoddard (A/C on K-62) kneeling. Taken on 15 Aug 1945 and four sheets to the wind, these boys are ready to go home now that it is official that the War is over! Almost guys. Just a few more POW drops and you will be on your way. This photo donated by Paul Reitz (B of K-61)
