Oath of Allegience
No. 584
THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI.
I Calvin D. Hollowell do solemnly swear (or affirm,) in the presence of Almighty God, that I will hereafter faithfully support, protect and defend the Constitution of the UNITED STATES, and the union of the States
thereunder; and that I will, in like manner, abide by, and faithfully support all laws and proclamations which have been made during the existing rebellion with reference to the emancipation of slaves. So help me God.  Calvin D. Hollowell. Sworn to and subscribed before me this 27 day of July 1865. B. G. Laurence, Judge of the Probate Court Marshall Co. Miss. I certify that the above is a true copy of an oath sworn to and subscribed before me this 27 day of July A.D. , 1865. B. G. Laurence Judge of the Probate Court Marshall Co., Miss.
