Memorial contributions are suggested to the Bruce Hilton Memorial Fund. Mr. Hilton was born August 20, 1951, in Kansas City, MO, the son of Billy C. Hilton and Donna R. Manford Hilton. He married Rebecca Shaumeyer on July 4, 1991, in Montserrat, MO. He was a submarine sailor in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Claude B. Champion V.F.W. Post 1829, Kansas City, MO. He was a road grader operator for the Johnson County Missouri Highway Department. He is survived by his wife, of the home; a daughter, Tracy Hilton, Independence; a son, Kevin Hilton, of the home; two stepsons, Cory Shaumeyer and Cody Shaumeyer, both of the home; his mother, Donna Hilton, Knob Noster, MO; his maternal grandmother, Juanita Manford, Kansas City, MO; and a sister, Marcia Davis, Raytown. FREDERICKSEN Aurelia Helene Fredericksen, 89, Council Bluffs, Iowa, formerly of Kansas City, Kan., died Dec. 27, 1992, at the home of her daughter in St. Joseph. Memorial services will be in Council Bluffs at a later date. Mrs. Fredericksen was born in Crescent City, Iowa, and lived in Kansas City, Kan., for 45 years before she moved to Council Bluffs in 1980. She worked for the credit department of Rothchild's for 30 years, retired in 1979. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Council Bluffs. Her husband, Walter M. Fredericksen Sr., died in 1965. Survivors include a son, Walter M. Fredericksen Jr., Pukalani, Hawaii; two daughters, Paula A. Dutcher, Plymouth, Montserrat, British West Indies, and Judith A. Memorial services will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Walnut Gardens RLDS Church; the body was donated to the University of Kansas Medical Center. The family suggests contributions to the Children's Peace Pavilion in care of the RLDS Temple. Mrs. Jones was director of girls' work for the RLDS World Church for 19 years, retiring in 1981. She served on the RLDS General Council of Women in the late 1960s and the 1970s. She taught at a rural school in Montserrat, Mo., in 1940-41. She received the World Community International Youth Service Award from the RLDS Church in 1981. She was a 1979 graduate of Graceland College, Lamoni, Iowa. She was a member of the Santa Fe Stake Mission of the RLDS Church. She was born in Midan, Kan., and lived in Warrensburg, Mo., before she moved to this area in 1949. Survivors include her husband, Everett E. Jones of the home; two sons, Robert E. Jones, Aberdeen, S.D., and Russell D. Jones, Independence; two daughters, Judith Rae Koenke, Minot, N.D., and Janice Jones McLuckie, Kansas City; a brother, H. GOODWIN Eura Sidney Goodwin, 95, died March 16, 1991, in the Fairview Glade Nursing Home, 4600 Selsa Road, Blue Springs, where she lived. She was born in Montserrat, Mo., and had lived in this area since 1931. Mrs. Goodwin was a member of the Mount Washington Baptist Church, Independence. Her husband, James M. Goodwin, died in 1977. Survivors include a daughter, Joyce L. Thornton, Blue Springs; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Carson Independence Chapel; burial in Mound Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel. Mrs. Colbern was born near Montserrat, MO, the daughter of Finis& Alberta (Roberts) Mayes. She graduated from Warrensburg High School and received her teaching certificate from Warrensburg Normal, before teaching one year in Montserrat. She was married to Bill Colbern in 1927 and he preceded her in death in 1977. She was a member of Warrensburg First Presbyterian Church, Johnson County Historical Society, and Womens Democratic Club. She is survived by one son, Jack W. Colbern, and his wife, Mary Ann, Raytown, MO; three grandsons, Chris W., John D., and Brian D. Colbern; and four great-grandchildren.
