LEEANNA WILSON Leeanna Wilson, 98, Raytown, MO, passed away Saturday, August 18, 2001 at Cedar Valley Health Center in Raytown. She was born July 25, 1903 in Harlan, KY, the daughter of Enoch and Lena (Scott) Forester, and had lived in Kansas City, MO and Bates City, MO. She moved to the Kansas City area in 1984. On February 14, 1931, she married James Otis Wilson in Lexington, KY. He preceded her in death March 1, 1984. Mrs. Wilson was a registered nurse. She had work at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington, KY, and at Trinity Lutheran Hospital in Kansas City. She leaves on daughter, Dixie Jane Arnold, Kansas City, MO; one granddaughter, Linda Sue Kephart, Kingsville, MO; and one great granddaughter, Eva Moore. Funeral services were held Monday, August 20, 2001 at Ben Cast & Son-Wood Funeral Home. The Rev. Steve Fagg officiated. Musicians were Robyn Sisk and Randall Kephart. Pallbearers were Lloyd Sisk, Bryan Moore, Randall Kephart, Bill Kephart, Merle Arbo, and Eva Moore. Interment was at Elm Spring Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Diabetes Association. LENORA "NONY" RUTH COX Lenora "Nony" Ruth Cox, 75, Holden, MO, formerly of Kansas City, MO passed away Sunday, August 19, 2001 at her home. Nony was born Thursday, March 4, 1926 in Independence, MO the daughter of Harold Carl Etzenhouser and Harriet Louise Veil Etzenhouser. She had lived in Kansas City most of her life. She was a 1944 Central High School graduate, Kansas City, and had attended Longview College. Nony was a member of the Rose Hill Baptist Church, south of Holden, and also a member of Summit Chapter of the Eastern Star in Lee's Summit. She had been an accounting clerk for the City of Kansas City, MO from 1968 until her retirement in 1993. On August 23, 1945 in Kansas City, KS she married Weldon Frank Cox. He preceded her in death in July of 1978. Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Canada and her husband Richard, Kansas City, MO, Linda Baker and husband Don, Belton; two sons, Tim Cox and wife Roxanne, Knoxville, IA and John Cox and wife Roberta, Holden; a sister, Freda Butner, Lee's Summit; a brother, Fred Etzenhouser, Independence; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Harriet Louise Driskill; and a brother, Harold Carl Etzenhouser. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 23, 2001 at 10 a.m. at Williams Funeral Chapel, Holden. Rev. Robert L. Sims will officiate. Pallbearers will be Don Baker, John Cox, Joel Peknik, Richard Canada, Tim Cox, and Robert Canada. Interment will be at Raymore Cemetery, Raymore, Missouri. Memorial contributions are suggested to Johnson County Hospice or Missouri Baptist Children's Home.
