CLIFFORD HOWARD GUSTIN Clifford Howard Gustin, 61, Holden, Missouri passed away Friday, September 29, 2000 at his home in Holden. He was born January 11, 1939 in Huntington, West Virginia, the son of Hubert Clare and Zella Marie (Wyant) Gustin. On February 11, 1973, he married Partricia Jean Williams. Mr. Gustin has lived in Marble, CO before moving to Holden several years ago. He worked for C&K Auto Parts in Holden for two years, and was a service manager at John Deere in Lee's Summit and Higginsville for seven years. He also owned and operated Holden Car Care in Holden, Missouri since of May of 1986. He was a NASCAR driver in Corona, CA from 1962-1972. He was a also a member of the Holden Optimist Club and was an artist. More importantly, he was a loving father and husband. He is survived by his wife, Pat, of the home; three sons, Eric Kevin Gustin, Holden, Steven Howard Gustin, Holden and Timothy M. Gustin, Knob Noster; two daughters, Michelle Rene Mendez, Banning, CA, and Katrina Kay Cruise, Boynton Beach, FL; and nine grandchildren, Nicholas Ray Gustin, Kevin Howard Gustin, Cody Wayne Gustin, Craig Howard Gustin, Jordan Mendez, Jillian Wright, Cannon Wright, Maggie Wright, and Walter Fague. Cremation under the direction of Ben Cast & Son-Wood Funeral Home, Holden. The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association. JOHN L. QUINN John L. Quinn, 84, of Little Rock, AR, passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2000. He was born in Bauxite, AR, and was the husband of Dorothy (Pierce) Quinn. He was employed by the Baldwin Company, now Baldwin-Shell, for 35 years. During the time he was the project superintendent for many buildings including the Barnhill Arena of the University of AK, Fayetteville campus, the Pine Bluff Civic Center and the AR Rice Grower's Assn. Building in Stuttgart. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and an avid Razorback football fan. The Quinns' children are Janice Quinn Mitchell, her husband, Don, is the eldest son of Dr. and Mrs. George Reuter; and John Calvin Quinn and his wife Elaine of Fayetteville, AR; his sisters, Cleora Spain of Little Rock and Mary Lou King of North Little Rock; and their grandchildren, J. Rob, D. Neal, and Michael Q. Mitchell and Shelli, Kelli, and J.T. Quinn; and a great grandson, Jack Quinn Mitchell, who all held a special place in Mr. Quinn's heart. A funeral service was held Friday, September 22, 2000 at Immanuel Baptist Church in Little Rock by Dr. Rex Horne, the pastor. Burial was in Pinecrest Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church. Arrangements were by Ruebel Funeral Home.
