John. W. Rutledge, (1847-1905) father of Albert Monroe Rutledge - my gggrandfather.
 
The following is on page 525 in Ozark Heritage, Dent County, Mo
Cemeteries & families Vol III, 1994:
 
Pinto-Watson Cemetery - On Meramec River, Martin Hart farm. Located in
Short Bend Township, Dent Co. Close to Crawford Co line near Cook Station
- also referred to as old Taff Graveyard.
RUTLEDGE, JOHN W. 1848-4/8/1905 at the Ed Morrison home, S/O Stephen W
Rutledge of Tyrone, Texas Co.; MD. Elizabeth Roark, 1870, Dent Co.,
Worked on Cook farm at Cook Station.
 
The parentage listed above is wrong.  John W. was not the son of Stephen W., he was his half-brother, son of Thomas and his second wife Jane Hall.
