Know all men by these presents, that we Alexander BARING and Henry BARING of the City of London and Kingdom of Great Britain, merchants, Robert GILMORE of the City of Baltimore in the State of Maryland, merchant, Thomas Magni WILLING of the City of Philadelphia and State of Pennsylvania, merchant, and Charles WILLING HARE of the same city and state, Esqr., devises of all the Estate [] of William BINGHAM late of the City and County of Philadelphia and State of Pennsylvania died seized having full power in and by his last will and testament to dispose of and convey the same to the uses and for the persons therein mentioned and Thomas Magni WILLING aforesaid in capacity of Joint Proprietor by David COBB and John RICHARDS, Esquires, our agents and attorneys duly authorized for that person in consideration of one hundred and twenty dollars paid by Benjamin HUCKINGS of Township No. 9 East Division in the County of Washington and Commonwealth of Massachusetts the receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge, do hereby give, grant, sell and convey unto the said Benjamin HUCKINGS a lot of land laying in the Township No. 9 aforesaid and County of Washington, District of Maine butted and bounded as follows, viz:

beginning at a stake and stones on the shore and running South fifty degrees East, twenty seven rods to a corner, thence South nine degrees West one hundred and twenty two rods by land now occupied by Jon. M. OWEN to lot No. nine, thence North seventy degrees East by said lot No. 9 thirty seven rods to a corner, thence North nine and a half degrees East to the shore of Cobscook Bay, thence by the shore to the point of beginning and containing one hundred acres, it is lot No. 3 on a plan by Benjamin R. JONES surveyor.

To have and to hold, the afore granted premises to the said Benjamin HUCKINGS , his heirs and assigns to his or their use and behoof forever and we do covenant with the said Benjamin HUCKINGS his heirs and assigns, that we have good right and lawful authority undersaid BINGHAM'S last will and testament to sell and convey his interest in the same to the said Benjamin HUCKINGS and that they are made free from all incumbrances since the sale there of by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to said BINGHAM and that we will warrant and defend the same to the said Benjamin HUCKINGS his heirs and signs forever against the lawful claims and demands of all persons whatsoever claiming from by or under said William BINGHAM meaning hereby to sell and convey the same title in the premises to said Benjamin HUCKINGS his heirs and assigns which said William BINGHAM derived from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts by his original title deed bearing date (no date). Recorded with the Deeds for the County of Washington Libra ?, folio 357.

In testimony, whereof we the said Alexander BARING, Henry BARING, Robert GILMORE, Thomas Magni WILLING, and Charles Willing HARE devises in trust as aforesaid; and Thomas Magni WILLING in my own right by our said agents and attorneys have hereunto set our hands and seals this eleventh day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and nine.

Know all men by these presents, that I John COOPER of Machias in the County of Washington and Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Esquire, in consideration of two hundred dollars paid by Joseph HUCKINS of Eastport in the County and commonwealth aforesaid, yeoman, the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge, do hereby give, grant, sell and convey unto the said Joseph HUCKINS

one half of Lot No. 8 situated on Sewards Neck in said Eastport being the northern half of said Lot and bounded on land belonging to Clement HUCKINS as Lot No, 7, containing fifty acres more or less.

To have and to hold, the afore mentioned premises to the said Joseph HUCKINS his heirs and assigns to his use and behoof forever and I do covenant with the said Joseph HUCKINS his heirs and assigns that I am lawfully seized in fee of the afore granted premises; that they are free of all incumbrances; that I have good right to sell and convey the same to the said Joseph HUCKINS and that I will warrant and defend the same premises to the said Joseph HUCKINS his heirs and assigns forever against the lawful claims and demands of all persons.

In witness, whereof, I the said John COOPER and Elizabeth , wife to the said John COOPER in token of her relinquishment of Dower have hereunto set our hands and seals this twenty third day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and five.

Know all men by these presents, that James BARSLEY of Plantation Number Nine, an unincorporated place within the County of Washington and State of Maine, yeoman, in consideration of fifty dollars paid by Robert HUCKINGS of Lubeck (sic) in the County and State aforesaid, yeoman, the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge do hereby remise, release, bargain, sell and convey and forever quitclaim unto the said Robert HUCKINGS his heirs and assigns forever all my right, title, and interest in and to a certain lot or piece of land situate and lying and being in said Plantation number nine, said lot fronting Straight Bay ranging Carlows Creek so called up together with all the privileges and appurtenances and improvements now on and belonging thereunto said lot containing one hundred acres.

To have and to hold, the same together with all the privileges and appurtenances thereto belonging to him the said Robert HUCKINGS his heirs and assigns forever and I do covenant with the said Robert HUCKINGS that I will warrant and forever defend the premises to him the said Robert his heirs and assigns forever against the lawful claims and demands of all persons claiming through or under me.

In witness, whereof I the said James BARSLEY have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty&endash;eighth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty.

Wals(?) COGGINS of Lubeck in the County of Washington and State aforesaid the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge, do hereby give, grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the said Benj. W. COGGINS his heirs and assigns forever in and unto a certain lot of land situated and lying in the Town of Lubeck and bounded as follows, viz:

and containing twenty acres, bounded Northeasterly on land of John GUPTILL , Southerly on land of Joseph HUCKINGS , Southwesterly on land of Benjamin HUCKINGS , Northwesterly on land of William CLARK .

To have and to hold, the said granted and bargained premises with the privileges and appurtenances thereof to him the said Benjamin W. COGGINS his heirs and assigns forever to his and their use and behoof forever, and I the said Benjamin HUCKINGS for myself and heirs, Executors and administrators do covenant with the said Benj. W. COGGINS his heirs and assigns that I am lawfully seized in fee of the premises; that they are free of all incumbrances; that I have good right to sell and convey the same to the Benj. W. COGGINS to hold as aforesaid, and that I will warrant and defend the same to the said Benj. W. COGGINS his heirs and assigns forever against the lawful claims and demands of all persons whatsoever.

In witness whereof, I the said Benjamin HUCKINGS and also Hannah wife of the said Benjamin HUCKINGS in token of my release of Dowery (sic) in the premises have hereunto set our hands and seals this thirtieth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty eight.

Know all men by these presents, that I James HUCKINGS, Samuel HUCKINGS, Samuel REYNOLDS and Elizabeth REYNOLDS , wife of the said Samuel REYNOLDS all of Lubeck (sic), in the County of Washington and Commonwealth of Massachusetts in consideration of one hundred dollars to us paid by Luke KELLY Lubec aforesaid, yeoman, the receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge, have remised, released and forever quitclaimed, and do for ourselves and our heirs, by these premises remise, release and forever quitclaim unto the said Luke KELLEY and his heirs and assigns a certain lot or parcel of land situate lying and being in Lubeck aforesaid, it being number ten in the third division, containing one hundred acres, it being the same land conveyed by John READ and William SMITH to our late father Nathaniel HUCKINGS on the thirteenth day of July eighteen hundred and five, as agents for the general court of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as by their deed of that date reference thereto being had will more fully appear.

To have and to hold, the afore mentioned premises with all the privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging to him the said Luke KELLY his heirs and assigns forever; so that neither we the said, James, Samuel, Samuel and Elizabeth nor our heirs, or any other person or persons, claiming from or under us or them, or in the name, right or stead of us or them, shall or will, by any way or means have, claim or demand any right or title to the aforesaid premises, or their appurtenances, or any part or parcel thereof forever.

In witness whereof, we the said James HUCKINGS, Samuel HUCKINGS, Samuel REYNOLDS , and Elizabeth REYNOLDS , have hereunto set our hands and seals this fifteenth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and nineteen.

Know all men by these presents, that I Benjamin HUCKINGS (sic) of Trenton in the County of Hancock and State of Maine, yeoman, in consideration of one hundred dollars paid by John R. HUCKINGS (sic) of Lubec in the County of Washington and State aforesaid, the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge, do hereby give, grant, sell and convey unto the said John R. HUCKINS his heirs and assigns a certain tract or parcel of land situate in said Town of Lubec as a part of lot numbered seven on Sewards Neck bounded as follows, viz;

Beginning on the South westwardly line of the Lot No. eight on a rock at a fence and eighty four rods to the southwest of a lot formerly owned by John GUPTAIL , thence running North westwardly across said lot, thence southwest to the South Bay, thence along said bay to the southwestwardly line, thence to the first mentioned bounds to contain twenty acres more or less.

To have and to hold, the afore granted premises to the said John R. HUCKINS and his heirs and assigns to their use and behoof forever and I do covenant with the said John R. HUCKINS his heirs and assigns that I am lawfully seized in fee of the afore granted premises; that they are free of all incumbrances; that I have good right to sell and convey the same to the said John R. HUCKINS and that I will warrant and defend the said premises to the said John R. HUCKINS his heirs and assigns forever against the lawful claims and demands of all persons.

JONES of Plantation number ten in the County aforesaid Esq. the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge, do grant, bargain and sell unto the said Benjamin R. JONES a certain lot or parcel of land lying and being in Plantation number nine aforesaid bounded as follows, viz:

Beginning at a pine tree on the shore of Jones Cove so called and running South thirty degrees East to the West line of number four, thence North nine and a half degrees East by the said lot number four to the shore of Cobscook Bay, thence around the shore of said Bay to the Point of Beginning, said lot containing fifty acres of land and being the northern half of lot number three which I lately purchased of the heirs of William BINGHAM as by their deed of bargain and sale to me executed bearing date on the eleventh day of April one thousand eight hundred and nine will more fully appear.

To have and to hold, the afore granted premises to the said Benjamin R. JONES his heirs and assigns and to his and their sole use and behoof forever and I do covenant with the said Benjamin R. JONES that I am lawfully seized in fee of the premises; that they are free from incumbrances and that I and my heirs will forever warrant and defend the same with all the privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging unto him, the said Benjamin R. JONES his heirs administrators or assigns against the lawful claims of all persons.

In witness, whereof I the said Benjamin HUCKINGS together with Mary my wife as a relinquishment of her dower in the premises have hereunto set my hand and seal this ninth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and nine.

Know all men by these presents, that I Clement HUCKINGS of Lubeck (sic) in the County of Washington and State of Massachusetts, yeoman, in consideration of sixty dollars paid by John GUPTAIL of said Lubeck, yeoman, the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge, do hereby give, grant, sell and convey unto the said John GUPTAIL , his heirs and assigns forever a certain lot or piece of land lying and being on Sewards Neck so called in said Lubeck butted and bounded as follows, viz:

Southerly on land of Joseph HUCKINGS eighty rods, Westerly on said Clement land, purchased of William CLARK Jr. thirty five rods, Northerly on said Clement land eighty rods and Easterly on land of Ezekiel PRINCE thirty five rods containing eleven acres and one quarter together with all the buildings, privileges and appurtenances to the same belonging.

To have and to hold, the afore granted premises to the said John his heirs and assigns to his and their use and behoof forever and I do covenant with the said John his heirs and assigns that I am lawfully seized in fee of the afore granted premises; that they are free of all incumbrances; that I have good right to sell and convey the same to the said John to hold as aforesaid and that I will warrant and defend the same premises to the said John his heirs and assigns forever against the lawful claims and demands of all persons.

In witness, whereof, I the said Clement HUCKINGS and Margery my wife in token of her free consent hereto have hereunto set our hands and seals, this twenty sixth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirteen.

Know all men by these presents, that I Clement HUCKINGS of Lubeck (sic) in the County of Washington and Commonwealth of Massachusetts, yeoman, in consideration of the sum of five hundred dollars paid me by Benjamin HUCKINGS Junior of Lubeck in the County of Washington and Commonwealth of Massachusetts, yeoman, the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge, do hereby give, grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the said Benjamin HUCKINGS Junior , his heirs and assigns forever in and unto a certain lot of land situated and lying in the Town of Lubeck containing forty acres and be the same more or less together with a house and barn standing thereon and bounded as follows viz:

Southwest on South Bay shore Northeast on land of the said Benjamin HUCKINGS Junior , Northwest on land of William CLARK Junior , Southerly on land of Joseph HUCKINS and James ROBERTS

To have and to hold, the said granted and bargained premises with the privileges and appurtenances thereof to him the said Benjamin HUCKINGS Junior his heirs and assigns forever to his and their use and behoof forever and I the said Clement HUCKINGS for myself and heirs, Executors and Administrators do covenant with the said Benjamin HUCKINGS Junior his heirs and assigns that I am lawfully seized in fee of the premises; that they are free of all incumbrances; that I have good right to sell and convey the same to the said Benjamin HUCKINGS Junior to hold as aforesaid and that I will warrant and defend the same to the said Benjamin HUCKINGS Junior his heirs and assigns forever against the lawful claims and demands of all persons. "Know all men by these presents, that I, Samuel HUCKINGS of a place called Cobscook, yeoman, in the County of Lincoln and Commonwealth of Massachusetts, in consideration of the sum of sixty pounds lawful money paid to me by Sarah SHAW , widow of the late Francis SHAW Esq. of Boston in the County of Suffolk and Commonwealth aforesaid, the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge,

do hereby give, sell, grant and convey to the said Sarah SHAW , her heirs, executors and assigns all my right, title and interest of, in and unto a certain tract or lot of land containing about one hundred acres, more or less, being situate on the South side of Cobscook Bay in 'Passamaquoddy' in the County and Commonwealth aforesaid, it being the lot that I have taken up as my Settlers Lot and the same on which I now live, as the same shall be hereafter surveyed and laid out.

To have and to hold, the same to the said Sarah SHAW and her heirs. And I do covenant with the said Sarah , her heirs and assigns that I am lawfully seized in fee of the premises that they are free of all incumbrances that I have good right to sell and convey the same to the said Sarah SHAW her heirs, executors, administrators and assigns to hold as aforesaid.

And that I and my heirs, executors and administrators shall and will warrant and defend the same to the said Sarah SHAW her heirs and assigns forever against the lawful claims and demands of all persons. In witness, hereof I have hereunto put my hand and seal this tenth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty six.
