Will
Of Sidney Augustu Newton
(October
23, 1815-May 2, 1895)

by his third great-granddaughter, Dawn Newton Quinn
Know all persons that I, Sidney A. Newton, of Lanesborough, Berkshire
County and Commonwealth of Massachusetts, make and ordain this
my last will and testament, as follows, viz:-
Item
First: I give and bequeath
to my beloved wife, Lovina Newton, the use and benefit of one
third of all my real and personal estate during her life.
Item
Second: I give and bequeath to my son, Albinas
S. Newton, and to my daughters Louisa L. Sheldon and Ulissa A.
Wood, the sum of five dollars each.
Item
Third: I give and bequeth
to my daughter, Mary R. Fuller, the sum of five dollars.
Item
Fourth: All the residue of my estate both real
and personal of every name and nature, I give to my son Henry
A. Newton, his heirs and assigns forever.
And for the purpose of carrying the foregoing will into effect
I constitute and appoint the said Henry A. Newton, the executor
of the same.
Done and executed at Lanesborough this twenty-fourth day of August,
in the year of our Lord, Eighteen Hundred and Eighty-Seven.

us, who in his presence and in the presence of each other, and
at his request have subscribed our names as witnesses hereto.
