A receipt For Female disese of the womb.

Take Balm, Elder Bark, & Parsley

one hand full of each 1/2 ounce of Alum

make a strong solution, & boil it down

to one pint, throw out the herbs &

ad two table Spoon full of sugar,

2 teaSpoons full of Laudanum,

& one pint of lard. Simmer the water

out slowly until the water is all out,

Anoint the parts effected with it inwardly & outwardly.

Ware a bandage & drink twice a week

one half teacup of equal parts

of Burdock & yellow dock tea.
