William Turner
Harlan, Ky Jan 4,1928 William Turner, colored man died Sunday night
at his home on Poor Fork, several miles from here. It was first reported
that he froze to death but this was a mistake, his death due to heart problems.
Uncle Bill will be remembered here as always picking up papers on the street
that had been thrown away. It is said that he is the oldest negro in the
county.
