Mossie Burkhart, 91, Verda, died Wednesday in Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital after a long illness. Services will be conducted Saturday at 2 pm in the chapel of Rich Funeral Home. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetary with the Rev. Otis King, and the Rev. Robert Burkhart officiating. She is survived by six children, Goldie Skidmore, Verda; Bud Burkhart, Illinois; Mary Ellen Thompson and Verda Skidmore, Cranks; Sterling and Lonzo Burkhart, Evarts. Also surviving are 57 grandchildren and two sisters, Myrtle Ball, Brookside; and Beatrice Napier, Virginia. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call at the chapel of Rich Funeral Home after 6 pm today. |
