Mrs Ludie Jones, widow of Frank Jones died in her home
on Main St of pneumonia. Mrs Jones was a long standing resident of Harlan,
and was a member of the Harlan, Baptist Church. She was the mother of eight
children, one son being dead. She is survived by Willie Jones, Mrs Mellie
Ball, Mrs Louise Creech, Mrs Ludie Blanton of Harlan. Mrs Ollie Hensley
of Martins Fork, Mrs Frankie Hall of Texas, and Mrs Eva Cherry of North
Carolina. Mrs Jones also raised Rosco Napier of Harlan. Burial took place
Wednesday in the Gilbert cemetery.
