Joseph Nolin/Nolan's grave is in Harlan County.
Not too far from the Pine Mountain Settlement School. You can get there from
Harlan by way of 421 across Pine Mountain and then turn onto 221, or you can
go to Laden (about half-way between Cumberland and Harlan) and turn onto the
old Laden Trail . This is a narrow, paved road and very scenic.  It passes at the
base of Rebel Rock and intersects with 221 after about 5-6 miles at a place
called the Divide.  No houses anywhere except near the foot of Pine Mountain
on the Harlan side. The Nolan Cemetery is located about one mile from the
Pine Mountain Settlement School on the North facing the slope of Pine
Mountain.
