Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m in the Cawood Mountain Assembly Church Of God for Mrs Margaret Nolan, 87 Yancy, who died Monday in Harlan Appalachian Regional hospital after a short illness.
Burial will be in the Cawood cemetery with the Rev. Ed Bray and the Rev E. C.
St. John officiating.
She is survived by 10 children. Spicy Johnson, Loyall; Daisy Osborne, Roxie Helton, Cawood; Adrian Nolan, Illinois; Cora Freeman, Indiana; Arch Nolan, Michigan; Alice Osborne, Yancy; Will of Bledsoe; Charity Clark, Middlesboro; and Delora Cain, Harlan.
Also surviving are two sisters, Sarah McIntosh, Liggett ; and Ellen Pierce Corbin ;
36 grandchildren; 70 great grandchildren; and three great, great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jack Osborne, John Osborne, Gene Helton, Charles Osborne,
Homer Osborne and Curtis hall.
The body is at the home of daughter, Mrs Alice Osborne,Yancy, and will remain there until the funeral hour. Colonial Chapel is in charge.

MAR 2, 1928

D.G. Nolan age 60 years old died Saturday night at 11:00 o'clock 
of pelleera. He was a member of the Christian Church on Pine Mountain,where burial took place at the Nolan Cemetery Sunday afternoon. He is survivrd by five daughters, Mrs Chariety Osborne,of Cawood, Roxie Nolan, Cora Nolan and Alice Nolan; three sons, John, Adison (Adrian) and Arch all of Lenarue and Wim, (Rue) Baxter.One brother Adrian Nolan of Shonu.
