Denvil Maggard, 62, of Greenwood, a retired welder, died Friday May 31, 
1996 in St. James Mercy Hospital.
Born in Harlan, Ky., He worked as a steel fabricator and welder for 23 years 
at Niagara Steel Finishing in Niagara Falls and retired in 1988.
Maggard was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, the former Mary L. Laffey; a son, Mark; two 
sisters, Viola Donovan of Sarasota, Fla., and Shirley Pardee of Lewiston; two 
brothers, Donald and George, of Niagara Falls; and two grandsons.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Hardison Funeral Home
