The following information was submitted by Ron Strickley October 12, 2008
"I have a plate (of this
church) and thought you may be interested in the church history as printed on
the back.
'The St. Paul Evangelical Church of Alexandria, Kentucky was founded in 1850.
In September, 1899, the Ladies Aid Society was organized. The cornerstone of
the new church was laid in 1900 and the following year was dedicated. In 1906
the new parsonage was built. In 1934 the Evangelical Synod merged with the
Reformed Church. In 1957 the new addition was completed."
