1756  Christopher b. 28 Mar 1756   [from his tombstone record].  His Rev. War pension
  says he was born in PA but moved to what became Shenandoah Co. VA when "very young."
  He enlisted in 1775 in that area and was stationed around Fort Pitt under the command of Capt.
  John Buson (Buzan?)He marched to Charleston SC and was also at Cornwallis at the
  time of the surrender.  He lived near Redstone, PA for several years after the war before
  coming to Nelson Co. KY around 1790 where he lived for about 30 years and later to Shelby
  Co. KY where he lived about 10 years. Wits for his pension were Jacob Wise and  
  Thomas Cox (who were also neighbors in Orange Co.) and his minister Chris. 
   Hostetler.
