  3. IINN-L. A mailing list for email users in India and those who may need to contact people in India in order to provide an easy and free means of communication and interaction amongst the Internet users in India. While a somewhat unusual topic for the list, genealogy queries are welcome. Additional information, including the ability to read postings even if you are not a subscriber, can be found on The Interact Inn All India Mailing List web page.   5. INDIA-BRITISH-RAJ. A mailing list for anyone with a genealogical interest in the period of British rule of most of the Indian subcontinent (present-day India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri lanka (Ceylon) and Myanmar (Burma)) which lasted from 1858, when the rule of the British East India Company was transferred to the Crown, until 1947, when the independence of British India was granted and Pakistan was formed.   7. INDIA-ROYALTY. A mailing list for anyone with a genealogical interest in royalty from/in India. Any time frame is acceptable, though a response is more likely expected for the modern era, from about 1800 onwards.
