CIVIL WAR PENSIONS
TUCKER, Hiram. 1840 - 01/01/1898. Information obtained from the National Archives is as follows: Rank: Private, Company C, 13 Reg't Indiana Infantry. Enlisted 22 April 1861 at Brookville, Indiana under Capt. Buxton. Mustered out July 1, 1864, at Indianapolis, Indiana. Pension of $6.00 per month from 1890 until 1898 and his wife Emily (Perrin) Tucker of $8.00 per month from 1898 until 1906. Hiram Tucker is buried in West Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson, Indiana and has a Civil War Tombstone. [Submitted 08 Sep 2001 by Phil Landes, GGrandson of Hiram Tucker].
