VOLUSIA COMPUTER GENEALOGY GROUP

V C G G

Daytona Beach, FL

The Volusia Computer Genealogy Group is an organization devoted to assisting family history researchers use computers effectively. Members are drawn from all of the other five area Societies and from the general public. Dues are $10 / year. The meetings are on the first Wednesday at 1:30 pm at the City Island Library Center in Daytona Beach.

Using a color projection device donated with the assistance of the Group to the City Island Library Center, new interactive computer software and internet material are reviewed at meetings on the big screen for all to see. Programs also include workshops and speakers on computer-oriented genealogy matters. New users love them!

This is a great active society to join and learn more about interactive family research! Visitors, as always, are welcome. Distinct advantages include meeting and interacting with other members, participating in workshops and special events, getting helpful software and book reviews, finding a source for advice and assistance, socializing with new friends--- and low, low dues. Come to a few meetings and see if we're right!
