The Pasco County Genealogical Society meets the second Saturday of each month for membership meetings from September through May. There is a summer recess June, July, and August. The public is always invited and welcomed. Please check our calendar on this website for details of the upcoming meetings. The Society gathers at 9:30 a.m. and the meeting starts at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 9016 Fort King Road (State Road 41) at the intersection of Bailey Hill Road, which is midway between Clinton Avenue, Dade City and Daughtery Road, Zephyrhills.Yahoo Maps has an interactive map showing the meeting place.
When driving north on Fort King from Zephyrhills, this is the entrance and it is on the right side of the road immediately after the Baily Hill Road intersection.
When driving south on Fort King Road from Dade City, this is the entrance and it is on the left side of the road below Laurel Oak Lane which is on the right side.
Membership is open to all persons interested in genealogical research. The Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, staffed by members who volunteer their time for a specific office or duty. Membership dues help to purchase supplies for projects, meeting guest speakers, and pay for publication of the quarterly Newsletter and annual Membership Directory.
The Society is an IRS qualified charitable organization. Any monetary gifts are tax deductible. The society maintains a genealogical library and donations are appreciated. Please contact the society President regarding items we may need and reference material to donate. The Society will need to review these contributions to assure that they are properly cared for by our organization. All accepted donations will be tax deductible to the donor. Members please note that annual dues are not tax deductible. A monetary gift included with the annual dues will be tax deductible.
A printable copy of the membership application is linked. A check and a completed membership application can be mailed to the address at the top of this page for consideration of membership. There is also an interests survey to identify common interests a new member might have with other members. The annual Membership Directory is provided to new members.
