George Rogers
                                                Ancestor of Glorianne Edith Seymour Fahs

                                                George Rogers was born about 1783 in Georgetown, Scott County,
                                                Kentucky, and died 15 October 1873 in Owen County, Indiana; his grave
                                                has not been located. He was a Private in Capt. Lyddall Bacon's Company,
                                                Kentucky Militia, February and March 1815.

                                                George Rogers and Nancy West were married 10 April 1811 in Frankfort,
                                                Franklin County, Kentucky. Nancy was born about 1782 in Kentucky and
                                                died in Owen County, Indiana on 13 October 1878. They had three children
                                                born in Kentucky and one born in Indiana - Melissa who married West P.
                                                Oakley and Jacob Huffman, John who married Lucinda Ann Fortune and
                                                Anna A. Constable, Lucinda B. who married Samuel Beaman, and Charity
                                                who married Gilbert Trent.
