* John Tolley d. bef 1870
     Came to Jackson Co WV from Rockbridge Co VA around 1830-40.
     Family history says their origin is Warwickshire, England, and
     came to America in the early 1700s with Dr. John F Tolle who
     lived in NY and added the y to the name. Three nephews, Daniel,
     John, and Dudley were the early settlers
