Dec 25 2004 - The WDC GenWeb Project and Lytton Study Group have been online RootsWeb since Oct 1996. With 1,383 linked descendant charts from hundreds of contributors, the Project has out-grown the manual process of putting charts online and updating them, compiling the People Index, and the ad-free search engine. The current charts on RootsWeb will be archived here; updating, adding new people, families, and the indexing, is now being done on Our Family Genealogy Pages where the processes are automated. It will take many months to enter the WDC charts into the Our Family database. This chart is now updated and on Our Family!

Compiled mostly from the research and data of Balfour Oliver Lytton Sr. He
went to Europe in 1946 and employed a Genealogist who searched every record
(then known) in England, Ireland and Scotland. His findings were published
in his 1950 book, "Remembering the Past to Preserve the Future". 200 copies
were printed.
