"DAR" is a
non-political service organization, founded in 1890.
Our Purpose:
- To preserve our American Heritage
- To preserve the memory and tradition of our
Revolutionary ancestors
- To promote and assist in the celebration of the
anniversaries of Washington's birthday, Flag Day, Constitution Week, the
Fourth of July and other Commemorative and historical events
- To actively participate in the work of the
Society through the chapter to further its objectives: historic
preservation, promotion of education, and patriotic endeavor
- To meet new people with common interest
- To join with others to foster patriotism and
love of country and to aid in securing for mankind all the blessings of
liberty
