Simon Kenton, uncle to my 3rd great grandmother, Mary (Polly) Kenton, born 1788, daughter of John and Catherine (Russell) Kenton and Mary's huband, Berryman James, born 1789, Fauquier Co, VA, son of Thomas Russell James and Hannah White. Berryman and Mary (Kenton) James are buried in the Bee Ridge Cemetery, Brazil, Clay, IN. Two sons moved from Indiana to Missouri. Thomas Russell James and John Kenton James. First to Henry Co., then to Lafayette Co. Thomas married Mariah Henderson Wallace. John married her sister, Celia Ann Wallace. Both brothers are buried in the Waverly Cemetery.
