This page is for all your ancestor's that were married on Vancouver Island. I have transcribed them from the BC Archives. I know you can search them there, but I have had many inquiries from people who cannot find them (possibly misspelled names, or most likely transcription errors from the original documents). If you find errors here, please let me know, but you must contact the BC Archives to have the name(s) corrected at source. If you find the couple you are looking for, please let me know and I will enter an email address for you. You never know who's looking for you!! Please put in the subject line: Vancouver Island Marriages and send it to my email.
If you don't know the date, you can search it easily at the BC Archives homepage. Don't put too much information in, just a last name to start of either the bride or the groom. Or follow the instructions on the site.
For Victoria you can search marriages up to 1939 at City of Victoria.
I have found some of Wanda Story's informtion on a webpage under the Qualicum Beach Family History Society. I hope this helps to replace only some of the fabulous work that she did.
