Joseph Henry Duffell was a Confederate Soldier having served
in Company “D” of the 5th Arkansas
Infantry. He was a blacksmith as was his father before him.
Joseph married Susan Jane Wallace. Susan & Joseph had four children:

Duffell b. August 17, 1877 d. March 26, 1934

Lula Duffell
Hall b. Aug 1878 d. Feb 10, 1910
Lula Duffell Hall had 3 children before giving birth to her
4th child Lena Roxie.
( Both Lula
& Lena died on Feb 10, 1910 during the childbirth)
Joseph Henry Duffell donated the land where the cemetery is
located when his wife died in 1908.
