Florida Land Grant Project

Florida is 500 miles long and 160 miles wide at its most distant points. Florida covers 65,758 square miles, making it the 22nd largest in the States.
Land Area: 53,997 square miles.
Water Area: 11,761 square miles.
Florida is bordered by Georgia and Alabama on the north, Alabama and the Gulf of Mexico on the west, surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean on the east and south.
