WILLIAM H. ANDREW, D. D. S.
Dr. William H. Andrew, actively engaged in the practice of dentistry in Cheyenne. is a western man by birth, training and preference, and in his life exemplifies the spirit of western enterprise which has led to the rapid and substantial upbuilding of this section of the country. He was born at Silver Plume, Colorado, in 1887, a son of Thomas and Mary (Curnow) Andrew, both of whom are living. Their family numbers four sons and two daughters.
Dr. Andrew was educated in the public schools of his native state and after reviewing the broad field of business in order to decide upon a life work he took up the study of dentistry in the University of Denver and after completing the full course was graduated with the class of 1913. In the same year he came to Cheyenne, where he has since enjoyed a good practice, and he has offices in the Citizens National Rank building. His office is well equipped with the latest accessories of dental practice and he is most skilled in the use of the delicate little instruments which form a part of the dentist's equipment. His high professional standing is indicated in the fact that his colleagues in dental practice have three times honored him with the position of treasurer of the State Dental Association.
In his political faith Dr. Andrew is a republican but does not seek nor desire office, preferring to concentrate his efforts and attention upon his professional interests. However, he is not remiss in the duties of citizenship and is ever ready to lend active aid and cooperation to measures for the general good. He belongs to the Industrial Club and fraternally he is connected with the Masons, the Knights of Pythias, the Woodmen of the World and the Knights of The Maccabees. His religious faith is indicated by his membership in the Methodist church and his loyalty to its teachings. He is well known in Cheyenne and is spoken of in terms of high regard by all with whom he has come in contact.
