TOM B. SCOTT.

TOM B. SCOTT.
Tom B. Scott, postmaster of Greybull, was born in Porterville, Mississippi, on the 20th of March, 1892, and is a son of Samuel B. Scott, who was a native of Mississippi, but both he and his wife are now deceased. Tom B. Scott was reared and educated in his native state. He enjoyed the privileges afforded by the public schools and remained a resident of Mississippi until he attained his majority, when in 1913 he made his way to the northwest and settled at Grey-bull, Wyoming. Two years later, or in 1915, he was appointed postmaster of Greybull and became the youngest postmaster in the state, being but twenty-three years of age at the time. His political allegiance has always been given to the democratic party and he is a stalwart supporter of its principles.
In June, 1915, Mr. Scott was united in marriage to Miss Lola Emery, a native of Kansas and a daughter of C. F. Emery, who is yet living, making his home in Greybull. Her mother, however, has passed away. Mr. and Mrs. Scott now have an interesting little daughter, Sibyl, born September 8, 1917.
In his fraternal relations Mr. Scott is a Mason, belonging to Greybull Lodge, No. 34, and also to the Order of the Eastern Star. He is the treasurer of the Hoye Refining Company of Greybull and he also owns a business block in the town. He has thus made for himself a creditable position in its business circles and he is yet a young man who has by no means reached the zenith of his powers. His course is marked by steady progress and the enterprise which is his dominant factor will win for him still further success.
