T. PAUL WILCOX.

T. PAUL WILCOX.
T. Paul Wilcox, serving as reporter in the district court, has made a most excellent record through his efficiency and fidelity. He was born in Cuba, New York, on the 31st of December, 1883, and is a son of Thomas and Flora A. (Fay) Wilcox, the former a carriage maker by trade. Both he and his wife are still living and they have reared a family of two sons and a daughter.
T. Paul Wilcox began his education at the usual age in the public schools of his native town and after mastering the branches taught in the grades and in the high school he pursued a business course. He started out in life as an employe of a railroad company and in 1903 arrived in Wyoming, being connected with the Union Pacific until 1906. He was then appointed to his present position as court reporter for the district court of Cheyenne and has since acted in that capacity, covering a period of more than eleven years. He is very systematic and thorough in all that he does and his speed and accuracy have made his services most valuable to the officials of the court. He at the same time undertook the study of law and on April 22, 1918, was admitted to the bar.
On the 5th of October, 1910, Mr. Wilcox was united in marriage to Miss Enid C. Jones and to them has been born a daughter, Enid E.
Politically Mr. Wilcox is a republican, having supported the party since age conferred upon him the right of franchise, but he has never been a politician in the sense of office seeking although he keeps well informed concerning the questions and issues of the day. He is a member of the Masonic fraternity and has attained the rank of a chapter and a consistory Mason. He is also identified with the Nobles of the Mystic Shrine and he has membership with the Benevolent Protective Order of Elks. He is well and widely known in Cheyenne and that he has many friends is due to a social genial nature which makes for personal popularity.
