EMIL B. YOUNG.
Emil B. Young is well known in Casper in connection with the restaurant and hotel business, now conducting his interests under the name of the Rhinoceros. Here he has lived through more than a decade, having arrived in Casper in 1906. He has always resided in the west and his entire business career has been actuated by the spirit of enterprise and progress that has been the dominant factor in the upbuilding of the great empire west of the Mississippi. He was born at Norfolk, Nebraska, August 20, 1887, a son of Martin Young. He was reared and educated in Iowa and in Nebraska, mastering the branches of learning taught in the common schools and in the high school. He was a youth of nineteen years when in 1906 he arrived in Casper and soon afterward he became a factor in its business circles, establishing a restaurant and hotel business which he has since conducted. He has made his establishment popular with the general public and is therefore liberally patronized. He owns an interest in the hotel building and also a fine residence in. Casper and has made for himself a creditable place among the progressive business men of the city.
In 1907, Mr. Young was united in marriage to Miss Lydia Mikkelsen and they have become the parents of two children, Bernice L. and Earl B. Fraternally Mr. Young is connected with the Loyal Order of Moose, the Woodmen of the World and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Politically he is a democrat, giving unfaltering support .to the party yet not seeking or desiring office as a reward for party fealty. He prefers to concentrate his attention and interest upon his business affairs and in that connection he is working his way steadily upward.
