DAVID EDWARD LEWIS.
David Edward Lewis, business manager of the Big Horn County Rustler, published at Basin, was born in Frostburg, Maryland, a son of Edward and Caroline Lewis. The removal of the family to the middle west during his boyhood days enabled him to pursue a course in the high school at Des Moines, Iowa. He has been identified with the interests of Bighorn county since 1908 and is now actively connected with the printing business as business manager of the Bighorn County Rustler.
On the 26th of March, 1896, Mr. Lewis was married to Miss Maude S. Wallace and to them have been born five children: Phyllis, Fred W., Edward 0., Ray R. and Jean.
The religious faith of the family is that of the Christian Science church. Politically Mr. Lewis is a democrat and fraternally he is connected with the Odd Fellows Lodge, No. 310, and with the Masonic Lodge, No. 20, both at Basin. He is widely known, exerting much influence over public thought and action through the columns of his paper, and his progressiveness touches those general interests which have to do with the upbuilding and development of the community in which he lives.
