C. E. BEYERLE.
C. E. Beyerle is president of the Pinebluff State Bank and is a well known and enterprising business man of Pinebluff whose efforts have constituted an element in general progress and improvement as well as in the advancement of his individual interests. He was born in Fort Madison, Iowa, December 14, 1873, and is a son of George M. and Mary (Martin) Beyerle. The father disposed of his business interests in Iowa in 1882, when his son, C. E. Beyerle, was a lad of nine years, and removed with the family to Keith county, Nebraska, spending his remaining days in that section of the country. He died in North Platte about ten years ago and his wife has also passed away. They were people of genuine worth, enjoying the goodwill and confidence of all who knew them. The Beyerle family is of French descent and C. E. Beyerle now has in his possession his father's passports, with which he came to America in 1853.
Spending his youthful clays under the parental roof, C. E. Beyerle at the age of eighteen years, started out upon a trip that carried him over the United States, Mexico and Canada. After much and varied experience he took up his abode in Wyoming, becoming a resident of Pinebluff in 1969. There he turned his attention to the real estate business and is now the owner of considerable property in the town and surrounding district. He has assisted much in the settlement of the locality by bringing people to this section of the state. He has recognized the possibilities for development here and his efforts have not only furthered his individual success but have also been the means of securing homes for many people who are now proving most substantial and valued citizens of the community. Mr. Beyerle has been associated with the Pinebluff State Bank since its organization and in January, 1917, was elected to the presidency of the bank, the business of which is constantly increasing. It has been founded upon a safe basis in recognition of the fact that the bank is most worthy of support that most carefully safeguards the interests of its depositors. Its policy will bear close investigation and scrutiny and its prosperity is the direct outcome of its honorable purpose and progressive business methods.
On the 19th of April, 1900, Mr. Beyerle was united in marriage to Miss Anna Lucinda Bagley. They are widely and favorably known in Pinebluff and are consistent and faithful members of the Presbyterian church, their religious belief guiding them in all of life's relations.
In politics Mr. Beyerle maintains an independent course, voting for men and measures rather than party. He is a worthy exemplar of the Masonic fraternity, having attained the thirty-second degree of the Scottish Rite, while in Abdallah Temple of the Mystic Shrine he has become familiar with the Nobles, who have led him over the desert. He is also a member of the Elks lodge at Poplar Bluff, Missouri. When leisure permits he enjoys a hunting or fishing trip, a game of golf or of billiards and he is very fond of various phases of outdoor life. His interests center in this state and the possibilities for its development, and he is among those who have the utmost faith in its future. His work has been farreaching and effective in behalf of general progress and improvement, and Wyoming is indeed indebted to his efforts.
