ALFRED R. LOWEY.
Alfred R. Lowey, engaged in the practice of law in Casper, was born May 27, 1887, in the city of Brooklyn, New York. His early education was acquired in the public schools of New York city and he afterward became a student in the Erasmus Hall private school and still later attended the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn. He thus acquired a liberal education to serve as a foundation upon which to rear the superstructure of professional knowledge, and having determined upon the practice of law as a life work, he began study in the National University of the city of Washington, in the District of Columbia. There he was graduated with the degrees of Bachelor of Laws and Master of Laws. He was admitted to the bar of the supreme court of the District of Columbia in 1912 and also of the court of appeals. After some time devoted to active practice in that city he opened an office in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he entered into a partnership relation under, the firm style of Bassett & Lowey.
In May, 1917, Mr. Lowey was united in marriage to Miss Helen Swartz, of Denver, Colorado, and following his marriage Mr. Lowey opened a law office in Casper, where he is now engaged in the practice of his profession. He is well equipped by thorough training for large responsibility in this Connection and his native talents and acquired skill will undoubtedly win for him a steadily increasing clientage.
