Rutherford L. ASHWORTH, 66, of Huntington, West Virginia, in St. Mary's Hospital, September 14, 2000. Born March 31, 1934, in Wayne County, West Virginia, the son of the late John and Abbie Mae Stevens Ashworth. Preceded in death by one daughter, Jerri Ray Miller; six sisters, Charlotte Cremeans, Beatrice Hammond, Pansy Passino, Meryl Ashworth, Hattie Ashworth and Frances Vernatt. Survivors include his lifelong companion, Maxine Lilly of Huntington; three sons, Rutherford L. Ashworth Jr., Johnny D. Ashworth and Howard M. Ashworth; three daughters, Doreen G. Jones, Denise L Taylor and Connie J. Ashworth; one sister, Ora Collins; one brother-in-law, Bruce Cremeans. Burial September 17, 2000, in Bowen Cemetery, Cabell County, West Virginia.
