The Taylor County Historical and Genealogical Society
strives to support historical and genealogical issues, projects, and events throughout Taylor County.
The Society maintains a historical and genealogical collection housed at the Taylor County Public Library located on the corner of Beech and Walnut Streets in Grafton. The collection includes over 1,200 volumes, several rolls of microfilm, and three file drawers of pedigree charts and family group sheets of members. The collection, combined with that of the Library's, provides Taylor County with one of the best local genealogical and historical collections in the area. You are welcome to submit copies of your pedigree chart and family group sheets for inclusion in the files. If you would like people to contact you with questions or to share information, please put your name and address, phone number or email address on your charts. Following are a few of the highlights of the collection:
