Trans-Allegheny

Chapter
Information
|
|
-
Trans-Allegheny is located among the
rolling hills and farmland of central
- West
Virginia. Weston, in Lewis
County, was once the center of the
hand blown
- glass
industry. Glass blowers still
practice their craft here today.
Jackson's
- Mill,
the boyhood home of Civil War General
Stonewall Jackson, is nearby.
- Central
West Virginia Genealogical and
Historical Library and Museum,
- located
in Horner, is a good place to do
research.
