Mary Ketterman, 74 

Mary Halterman Ketterman, 74, passed away Dec. 19, 2009, in Brooksville, FL.

 A daughter of the late Jesse F. and Beulah Whitmer Halterman, she was born May 27, 1935, in Mathias.

She married Norman B. Ketterman, who survives, on July 24, 1957.

Also surviving are three daughters, Carla Richardson and husband, Rob, Carol Kelley and, husband, Mark, and Cathy Beckwith and husband, Michael; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

 She was also preceded in death by her brother, Norman Halterman, and one grandson.

 A memorial service and burial will be held in West Virginia at a later date.

 In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

 Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel, Spring  Hill, FL.

Angel Puffenbarger, 27

Angel Lee Puffenbarger, 27, of Brandywine died Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2009, at her home.

She was born Feb. 13, 1982, at Beckley and was the daughter of Regina Manning Smith of Brandywine and Harry Frank Stoots of North Carolina.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by one son, Michael Lee Dean Roberson of Beckley, and one brother, Harry Frank Stoots, Jr. of North Carolina.

Funeral services were private and under the direction of the Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin.

Ival Phillip Kisamore

Ival Phillip Kisamore, 75, of Georges Creeks, died peacefully at home on Sunday, Dec. 20, 2009.

He was the son of the late Emory Kisamore and Kertie Harper.

He was employed by Orkin for many years and retired from Western-Southern Life Insurance after 33 years of service.  He was a member of the Dry Branch Community Church and a 1951 graduate of Circleville High School in Riverton.

Mr. Kisamore cherished his family and friends and leaves behind the love of his life, Kathleen.  They recently celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a brother, Harmon “Pete” Kisamore of Onego; a sister, Frances (Am) Wimer of Cherry Grove; a son, Zeke (Sue) Kisamore of Cabin Creek; five daughters, Linda Ward of Charleston, Alma (Darrell) McDaniel and Karen Kisamore and Dave Dunlap, all of Georges Creek, Patty (George) Givens of Witcher Creek and Brenda (Dave) Cook of Riverton; 12 grandchildren, Tammy Kisamore, Joe Ward, George Givens Jr., Crystal Gilmore, David “Buttons” Cook, Jennifer Kozak, Amanda Hall, Darrell McDaniel II, Lori Harrison, Stacie Dunlap, Thomas Dunlap and Jeremy Dunlap; 21 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Edwin and Freddie Kisamore; and two grandsons, Sean and Phillip Kisamore.

The funeral service was held Wednesday at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden, with the Rev. Adam Short and the Rev. David Crowder officiating.  The entombment followed in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.
