Paul Junior White, 62, Baltimore, MD, died Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2002, at Stella Maris Hospice Center in Baltimore, MD, due to a hard battle with cancer.

Mr. White was born Dec. 8, 1939, at Cherry Grove and was a son of Clara Arbogast White and the late Berline White.

He had been in Baltimore, MD, for 41 years and was employed at Caplan Brothers, Inc, as a glass installer. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and was an avid deer and raccoon hunter.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Edwards White.

Also surviving are one son, Paul Douglas White of Baltimore, MD; two daughters, Polly A. Wise and Tracy R. James, both of Baltimore, MD; two brothers, Thomas Y. White of Cherry Grove, and Roger White of Dunmore; six sisters, Leona Peck and Shirley Bennett, both of Cherry Grove, Margaret R. Wimer of Franklin, Darlene Willis of Ranson, Alice Losh of Staunton, VA, and Martha Gilley of New Market, VA; and seven grandchildren.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jackie E. White and Charles White; and two sisters, Ellie Mae White and Donna Colaw.

The Rev. Beverly Oxenrider conducted the funeral at 10 a.m. Saturday at Christian Fellowship Church in Middle River, MD. Burial was at Polly Hill Memorial Gardens in Middle River, MD.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of organization of choice.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Connelly Funeral Home in Dundalk, MD.

Sally Catherine (Snyder) Lambert, 82, of Hall Hill Road, Franklin, died Sunday, Nov.24, 2002, at the home of her daughter, Halls Hill Road, Franklin.

Mrs. Lambert was born Feb. 6, 1920, at Dahmer and was a daughter of the late Harry Pleasant (HP) Snyder and Cora Margaret Propst Snyder.

She was a homemaker and was a member of Faith Lutheran Church.

On Jan. 15, 1938, she married Arnold Green Lambert, who preceded her in death on May 22, 1993.

Surviving are one daughter, Gretta Pope, Franklin, three sons, Arnold Lambert, Franklin, Jack Lambert, Rocky Mount, NC, and Dale Lambert, Diamond Springs, CA; three sisters, Ella Mae Riggleman, Gladys Hartman and Mary Warner, all of Franklin; one brother, Everett Snyder, Harrisonburg, VA; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Fred Snyder and Bennie Snyder; and two sisters, Erma Simmons and Georgie Herring.

The family will receive friends and relatives Tuesday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin.

The Rev. Mary Poston will conduct the funeral 1 p.m. Wedneday at the Faith Lutheran Church in Franklin. Burial will follow at the Cedar Hill Cemetery, Franklin.

Memorials may be made to Grant Memorial Hospice or Pendleton Nursing Home.

Regana Arbaugh, 81, of Circleville, died Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2002, at Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg. She was a resident of the Pendleton County Nursing Home.

Mrs. Arbaugh was born Oct. 4, 1921, in Smith Creek and was a daughter of the late Taylor Wimer and Rebecca Vandevander Wimer.

She was a homemaker and a member of the North Fork Brethren Church.

On April 19, 1941, she married Willie D. Arbaugh, who preceded her in death Nov. 8, 1995.

She is survived by a daughter, Olive Thompson of New Creek; eight sons, Larry Arbaugh, Willie J. "Billy" Arbaugh, Richard W. Arbaugh, Dwight Arbaugh and Galen Arbaugh, all of Circleville,Kermit Arbaugh of Cherry Grove, Lonnie Arbaugh of Monterey, VA, and Johnny Arbaugh of Akron, OH; a sister, Lucy Bennett of Cherry Grove; two brothers, Ambers Wimer of Cherry Grove and Philip Wimer of Harrisonburg, VA; 21 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by five brothers and one sister.

Pastors Hoy Lambert and Rebecca Bennett conducted the funeral 1 p.m. Sunday at the Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin. Burial was a the Rymer-Calhoun Cemetery in Circleville.

Paul Lewis Brevard, 84, of Circleville, OH, went to be with the Lord on Nov. 14, 2002, at Riverside Hospital in Columbus, OH.

Mr. Brevard was born Sept. 8, 1918, in Pittsburgh, PA.

He is survived by his wife, the former Anna Tracy of Arbovale, who taught music, English and biology in Circleville, WV, in 1945-46; three daughters, LeAnna (Roy) Crowley, Rose Carol (George ) Tomlinson, LaDonna (David) Yaussy; one son, Jonathan; four granddaughters; six grandsons; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Callie (Allison) Brevard, second wife's parents, Claude and Dessie (Eye) Tracy.

Mr. Brevard attended Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, NY, and God's Bible School in Cincinnati, OH: also Carnegie Techin Pittsburgh, PA. HE served the Chruches of Christ in Christian Union as manager of their publishing house and editor of the Evangelical Advocate for 33 years. He also worked for the "Weekly Reader," newspaper for school children in Columbus, OH, and the United States Printing Office in Washington, DC.

Mr. Brevard was known as master of the electric Hawaiian guitar. Everywhere he went people requested that he play "Life's Railway to Heave" with special sound effects. He delighted in serving the Lord iwth music, through support of several missionaries, and as a Gideon member.

Funeral service was held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 17, at the Campus Church on Lancaster Pike, with the Rev. Melvin Truex officiating. Burial was at 2:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 18, at Arbovale.

Arrangements were courtesy of the Wellman Funeral Home.

Nellie Grace Hedrick Galippo, 87, of North Ridgeville, OH, died Oct. 15, 2002 at Center Ridge Nursing home, North Ridgeville, OH, following a nine-month illness.

Mrs. Galippo was born Dec. 24, 1914, in Ruddle and was a daughter of the late John M. and Fannie G. Hedrick.

She was a resident of Cleveland OH, for many years and moved to North Ridgeville, OH, nine months ago.

She attended Franklin High School. She was a seamstress for many years and worked for White Sewing Machine Company and Sears Roebuck as a sewing instructor, retiring in 1980.

She was a life member of the Reeds Creek United Methodist Church and a member of Brooklyn Acres Senior Citizens, Cleveland, OH.

Survivors include a daughter, Phyllis Hodges, North Ridgeville, OH; a son, Roger Galippo, North Ridgeville, OH; sisters, Icie Clark of Pittsburgh, PA, Eula Kimble and Madeline Whitecotton, both of Upper Tract, Mary Thompson and Pauline Waggy, both of Franklin; one brother, John W. Hedrick of Upper Tract, nine grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were one sister, Ina Hartman; and one brother, Alton P. Hedrick.

Arrangements were handled by Liston Funeral Home, North Ridgeville, OH, where services were held October 17. The Rev. C. Michael Gibson, pastor of Fields United Methodist Church, North Ridgeville, OH, officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Westlake, OH.

Joyce Louise Jones, 57, of Brandywine, and formerly of Riverdale, MD, died Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2002, at the University of Virginia Medical Center, Charlottesville, VA.

Mrs. Jones was born Jan. 17, 1945, in Hyattsville, MD, and was a daughter of the late Wilbur and Hazel Hall Jones.

She was a homemaker and attended Riverdale Baptist Church, Riverdale, MD.

She is survived by two sons, Wayne Alan Day, Jr., of Brandywine and Ricahrd Day of Port Tobacco, MD; a daughter Karen Lynne Lockner of Brandywine; a sister, Mary C. White of Port Tobacco, MD; and six grandchildren, Billy, Derek, Brittany, Jessica, Ashley and Christopher.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Herbert Fitzpatrick Saturday at 11 a.m. at Gasch's Funeral Home in Hyattsville, MD. The body was cremated.

Ernest Lee "Satchel" George, 81, of Petersburg, died Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2002, at Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg.

Mr. George was born July 5, 1921, in Petersburg and was a son of the late Pearl Eston George and Ella Kuykendall George. He farmed for Richard Welton and was employed at the Petersburg Tannery.

His wife, Helen R. Porter George, preceded him in death December 22, 2000.

He is survived by two daughters, Betty S. Shaffer of Petersburg and Joann Goldizen of Maysville; six brothers, Harold George of Maysville, Junior George, Donald George, Merlin "Midge" George and Otha George, all of Petersburg, and Clifton "Joe" George of Brushy Run; two step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The Revs. Ricahrd L. Longbon and Michael E. Taylor conducted the funeral 1 p.m. Friday at the Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg. Burial was at Maple Hill Cemetery in Petersburg.
