Grace H. Anderson

Grace H. Anderson, 83, of Seneca Rocks died Friday, Sept. 19, 2008, at her home.  

Mrs. Anderson was born June 13, 1925, in Onego and was the daughter of the late Kenneth Mallow and Zernie Phares Mallow.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Anderson, in 1981, and a companion, Melvin Vance in 2000. 

Survivors include two sons, Robert Lee Anderson and Nonly Anderson, both of Baltimore, MD; five daughters, Patricia Kinser, JoAnn Anderson, Wanda Barncord, and Abbie Shifflett, all of Baltimore, MD, and Debra Hertlove of Churchhill, MD; 29 grandchildren, including Joe Holbrook, hwhom she raised; a number of great-grandchildren, ; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews, including Carol Turner of CAbins.  

She was the last survivor of her immediate family. 

Rebecca L. Bennett conducted the funeral Monday at Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg.  Burial was at South Branch Valley Memorial Gardens in Petersburg.
