Cornelia Nesselrodt McIlwain

Cornelia Grace Nesselrodt McIlwain, 85, of South Charleston died peacefully in her sleep at home on August 13, 2012.

She was born in Franklin on Sunday, April 3, 1927 and was preceded in death by her parents, Isaac David and Lena Mallow Nesselrodt and her brother, the Reverend Julian David "Buddy" Nesselrodt.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Merrell S. McIlwain; their children: Merrell Stratton II, Marsha Sue, and Mary Stephanie; four grandchildren: Kevin, Laura, Kathryn Grace, and Drew; and one great grandchild, Sawyer.

She is also survived by her sisters, Dolly Collins and Ann Elliot.

A Service of Witness to the Resurrection was held Saturday, August 18, 2012, at First Presbyterian Church of South Charleston with Dr. Arnold Lovell officiating. Burial was at Sunset Memorial Park in South Charleston.

Jacquelyn Denise Kitchen

Jacquelyn Denise Kitchen, 46, of Baltimore, MD and formerly of Circleville died Friday, August 24, 2012 as the result of a motorcycle accident in Baltimore, MD.

She was born February 14, 1966 in Baltimore, MD and was the daughter of Ralph L. Kitchen and Sharon Nelson, both of Baltimore, MD.

Ms. Kitchen always had a smile or hello for anyone she met and never met a stranger.

Also surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Sundae and Allen Warner II of Circleville, one son, Hunter Turner of Circleville; one granddaughter, Alison Warner; two brothers, David Kitchen of Tonawanda, NY and James Kitchen of Baltimore, MD; three nephews; four nieces; two great nieces.

A memorial service will be held Friday at the Kimble Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin, WV with Rev. Samuel Harper officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
